Chrome Showerhead Shut Off Valve The simple solution to a costly inconvenience How often have you found yourself in the shower when suddenly you have to get out for whatever reason? Great, you just got the water to that "perfect temperature" and "pressure". If you are concerned with water conservation, at this point you would prefer to turn the water off. But, if you do so, you will have to find that "perfect temperature" and "pressure" again. Here we have a simple solution to that costly inconvenience. This is a solid brass chrome plated shut off valve for the shower head only. Leave the faucet on, already set to your selected temperature and pressure and simply shut off the shower head only. This valve has a Push Button that slides from side to side. Push it in one direction to turn it on, the other direction to turn it off. This valve does not provide 100% shut off. A small amount of water will continue to flow in order to comply with the Plumbing Code in some areas. Easy to install. Remove your existing shower head, screw the shut off valve on to the shower arm where the head used to be (comes complete with the washer required) and then re-attach the shower head to the end of the new shut off valve. Presto. Done. It just doesn't get any easier than that. Now when that inevitable "emergency" occurs as soon as you get into the shower you just push a button and come back to that "perfect shower" later. Pays for itself in very short order.
